The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city walls. The house itself was clean, well furnished, and had plenty of space for our large family. We especially enjoyed having control over the central heating and the cozy gas fire in the front room. The small patio outside was a great bonus for enjoying the fresh air. a lovely place for a family stay in York.
My children wanted a few more board games or toys available for entertainment. They had a great time exploring the city, but it would have been nice to have some additional activities for them to enjoy at the house.

I chose to stay at the Cosy & Central Victorian House - Pass The Keys because I really wanted to visit York Minster. The location of the property was perfect for this and I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access. It was convenient to be able to surf the web during my stay. I appreciated the presence of a washing machine, dining area, and private entrance in the apartment.
The property initially informed me that the apartment I had paid for was already booked by someone else. However, after contacting them again, they clarified that I did have the apartment and I had to fill out another form for check-in instructions.

The bathroom with a shower and a washing machine was really convenient for our family. The stylish Marilyn Monroe theme in the rear bedroom gave it some personality. The calm blue color in the master bedroom created a relaxing atmosphere.
I personally wasn't a fan of the monochrome theme in the rear bedroom, but others might enjoy it.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy and restful sleep after a long day of exploring. the location was fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the city center, making it easy to access all the main attractions. the house was well-furnished and had everything we needed for a short stay, allowing us to feel right at home.
the broken door handle in the bedroom was a safety hazard, causing my daughter to hurt her hand. the sofa desperately needed replacing as it was uncomfortable and didn't provide proper support, which was particularly difficult for my daughter who suffers from scoliosis.

The bathroom in this cosy house is a pleasant surprise with a shower and a washing machine. It's super convenient for a budget traveller like me who needs to freshen up and do laundry on the go. Plus, the bedroom with the Marilyn Monroe monochrome theme adds a touch of style and keeps things interesting.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the blue color scheme in the master bedroom. But hey, I understand that everyone has different tastes, so some people might still find it calming and enjoyable.

I recently stayed at this lovely Victorian house for a short trip to explore the city. The coziness of the place was amazing, with proper heating and a gas fire that made it feel like home. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk to the city walls. The house was clean and well-furnished, with two double rooms and plenty of space for four to six people. Communication with the host was excellent, with clear instructions for key collection and a helpful electronic manual provided. I also appreciated the parking permit that was arranged electronically.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The location was legit, just a short walk from the center where all the sick parties were happening. We even hit up the dope York Minster and Clifford's Tower, feeling bougie AF. Plus, the Wi-Fi was fire, so we could post all our epic pics and flex on our followers like true influencers. #LivingOurBestLife
The only thing we wished for was a kickass sound system in the house. We wanted to turn up the volume and have some sick pre-party vibes before hitting the clubs.

I was excited to visit York Minster, and chose Cosy & Central Victorian House - Pass The Keys solely for its location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access. It allowed me to easily plan my day and stay connected with loved ones. The presence of a washing machine, dining area, and private entrance in the apartment was also a great convenience.
The complicated road system and lack of directions from the host made finding the property challenging. It took me over an hour to locate and park by the property, relying solely on Google SatNav.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks. the sofa in the living room was not very comfortable and could use an upgrade.
